My line is titled “Eternal Return”. I wanted to bring life to designs that a younger me would have loved to wear. While gathering ideas, I came across photos of lone items, spirals, and time lapse photos of stars. These images provoked memories of solitary journeys on my home farm - walking through woods, marshes, and fields. Time alone was also spent wandering empty school halls after classes had ended, and in a darkened mall after the movies were over. I was never lonely, but I still remember the comforting bewilderment of being solitary while still existing in a vast world. This is my way of returning myself to those moments, but this time, I’m in the clothes I had wished to make back then.
